Service Description

If you are looking to get started on your child’s toilet teaching journey and you are not sure where to begin, you may like to schedule a call with me to discuss strategies that will best suit your child’s developmental ability. If you are already on your toilet teaching journey and you and your little one are experiencing some minor difficulties, you may feel that the consultation of a professional is required to get things back on track. Minor difficulties can include issues like Resisting sitting on the potty or toilet, not going when sitting on the potty or toilet, frequent accidents, accidents after visiting the toilet, fixations on flushing, resistance to following the toilet routine (e.g. hand washing), requesting nappies for bowel movements, night time toilet skills, avoidance of using toilets outside of the home. If one of these describes the situation that you find yourselves in then you may wish to book an online guidance and advice session with me to assist with your toilet teaching journey. I offer an online 60-minute video call where we can discuss your toilet teaching journey thus far, and we can discuss particular concerns and queries that you may have. We can then formulate some options for you and your little one going forward. Please be aware that a toilet referral form will need to be sent to me a few days prior to our appointment so that I can adequately prepare for our meeting. Please note this option does not include written plans, programmes, or personalised materials. It is a one-hour discussion only. A recording of our meeting will be provided for your records, with your consent (given via your referral form). Recordings are strictly for your use and will not be shared with anyone else. You can book these consults as frequently as you like but if you feel that your child’s toileting needs are not minor and require the support of a detailed plan, then please see below for option 2. If you are unsure which option would best suit your child’s particular needs, then please reach out to me with a description of your concerns, and I will be better able to advise you. *Pre-payment of this service is required at the time of booking and an invoice will be emailed to you. *On request, you can book a guidance and advice consultation for a duration of more than one hour if you feel that you would like more time. Please let me know in advance for invoicing.
